Inspired by the many great apps that are developed and made for upgrades of the living and working environment, social -, creative – and recreational activities, navigation, games etc?

Because of the unlocked unique data material from the government, we are now able  to do the same. The challange is to make life more fun and easy, using the new commodity of the information-society: Open Data. Are you a programmer, interaction designer, engineer or data specialist? Then join App-in-a-day 040 and invent and build an app that will change the world forever. Together or alone, in teams and with the help of experts apps are in no time put together and presented to a jury, who will reward the best three with the grandprizes of the day. Because of the free participation of all, these rewards do not contain money, but with the honour, goodie bags and eternal glory you’ll get far.   App- in-a-day 040 is part of 7Daysofinspiration, a national week in which the Netherlands is being upgraded by many improvement projects that are performed on non profit basis. After Party

Friday evening  there will be 7di040 Inspiratiecafe in De Etalage van Trudo. Lounging with TED clips, short presentations and the possibility to brainstorm further about this day of apps and open data and simplify. Chill App anybody? Just walk in between 19 and 22 hour and bring your own links or projects.
