Samenvatting

The amount of data generated and stored is huge and constantly increasing. Both government and private enterprises are producer and owner of this data. Especially governments generate and manage data of general interest and utility (can be). With the accessibility of data there are more opportunities to use the meaning of this data for full advantage. Numerous examples of successful applications and visualizations indicate that there is a world to win.
